A stylish way to drink Soju maybe Sake or even Vodka (a GMarket find)

Soju Porcelain Pot and Cups - Gmarket 2

Firstly I would like to say that there is nothing wrong with drinking drink Soju using just a shot glass (or even shot paper cup). however as the weather is bitterly cold at the moment and is due to continue until early March, I wanted a more stylish way to drink my Soju (maybe Sake or even Vodka). I went to a few places Homeplus, Diaso, and even some local homeware shops. But sadly they didn’t have either what I was looking for or there selection was on the expensive side.

But then the Korean online mecca “Gmarket” provided the answer with this porcelain pot and 4 cups in a nice wooden box set. The price was a reasonable 11,500 (including delivery). Due to the Japanese style writing on the pot and cups I think it’s designed more for Sake or maybe green tea. Still it does a great job with my Soju.

  1. Which use does pot have for drinking Soju? Or was it originally intended for drinking tea?

    1. I think it was designed for Sake (Japanese Rice Wine) but it could have been for tea. I’m not sure, however the Soju tastes great :)
