Experience Some of Korea’s Natural Beauty by Hiking in Gugal-Dong, Yongin

When you mention Yongin most people either think Everland or Korean Folk Village and that’s fair enough as both are amazing, however there are a number of excellent hiking/walking locations in Yongin that are well worth checking out.

This trail located just behind Kangnam Univeristy in Gugal-Dong, Giheung-gu, Yongin, around 50mins from Gangnam and a little over an hour from Seoul Station by bus. It goes on for miles however there are many smaller routes for people who just want a peaceful morning stool. One of the best things about this area is that it’s quiet, so you can really enjoy Koreans without others ruining the experience for you.

There are a number of workout areas and also some great views of Yongin. On the downside isn’t easy to reach and there isn’t much else to down in the area, but if it’s a more relaxing time you’re looking for then this is a good option.
