Life can sometimes be tough for many reasons and sometimes it’s nice to escape for an hour or so, and Seoul forest (서울숲) is a great option due to its location in Seongdong-gu, on the banks of the Han River plus the added benefit that’s its free.
Take the subway to Ttukseom Station (뚝섬역) Line 2, less than 20mins away from Gangnam. Leave though exit 8 and you’ll be greeted but an escape from the hustle and bustle. There are a few small stores which you can buy snacks however there are not any serious restaurants which is a shame. A few small lakes/ponds are spread around the park along with a few enclosures of deer, which is an interesting sight.
If you’re looking for a relaxing option in Seoul or a nice quiet place to take a date then this is a great option.
