Haeundae Beach in Busan is the most famous beach in South Korea and maybe is the most popular tourist destination in Busan, South Korea. The sandy beach is located in the Haeundae-gu district in downtown Busan and is around 40minutes away from Busan Station and an hour from the Airport. In the summer the beach is crazy busy with hardly a spare inch at times but off-season the beach is still popular but must less busy and (in my opinion) more enjoyable. Haeundae also has been different restaurants, bars, hotels and guest houses most of which are foreigner friendly. So after spending the day relaxing on the beach you don’t have to travel very far for a fun night out.

Haeundae Beach is a great place to visit. My wife and I recently went there during the Chuseok holiday and had a great time walking on the beach and listening to the live music.
