For our first ever Song of the Week we’ve chosen “Shower of tears” by BaeChiGi Ft. Ailee (눈물샤워). We chose this song firstly best of it’s fantastic combination of rapping and ballad / classic music styles, also the sort of rap battle towards the end of the song it pretty cool. Secondly because it stands out in a positive way in comparison to other KPOP songs currently in the charts, it’s cool but not in a bubblegum pop or novelty Gangnam Style way. Finally the music video MV is interesting and tells a story which links well to the song without being over dramatic or stereotypically KPOP.

Finally

We hope you’ve enjoyed and agree with our choice for KPOP Song of the week. Also we admit that recently some good KPOP songs have been released lately from the likes of; Girls Generation, Infinite H & others. However we would prefer to look at a group that has been less mainstream (until now). If you have any suggestions for next weekend, please let us know.

Have a nice Saturday and great weekend.
