Here we a popular Korean board game called “World Tour Korean Board Game” or “세계여행” (Sae/Gyea/Yo/Haeng). The game itself it basically monopoly, but with the streets or areas replaced by Cities. The Train Stations replaced by Islands. The Houses replaced by Pensions along with other slight changes in order to make the game different (maybe for copyright reasons).
Basic Rules
The rules and aim of the game are the same as monopoly, buy the cities and get money for other players when they land on them. Expand your collection and upgrade your cities with Pensions and Hotels. Jail has been maybe Kid friendly and replaced with a Desert Island (무인도). You still get money for passing go and the chance cards are also here.

Summary
World Tour Board Game (세계여행) is really fun either one on one or as a large group. It is in Korean however it’s not difficult to play even if you don’t speak a word as the rules are similar to monopoly. It is also a great way to practice your Korean reading and conversation. Finally price, just ₩4000 from my local stationary store but it’s also available in large supermarkets, malls and online (prices range).
We will keep an eye out for other fun games and list the details here in the future. If you have any questions or comment, please let us know and have a great day.
