Lunch at Sinpo Woori Mandoo Seoul

Seoul and South Korea in general is home to more restaurants per person than maybe any other country. On pretty much every street they’ll be at least a small stall selling food. Therefore it can at times be a pretty daunting prospect Sinpo Mandu choosing one. Recently we were in the Insa-dong area of Seoul and we chose Sinpo Woori Mandoo Restaurant.
Sinpo Woori Mandoo is a franchise chain and can be found all over Korea and their menus are broadly the same.

The Menu

As you can see the menu is in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese. There is also a short description in both Korean and English. There are pictures which are a very close representation of the food. Plus of course prices.

The Food

We eat 4 different dishes and which like with most meals in Korea came with side dishes. The main meals cost between ₩5,000 and ₩6,500 each and are all pictured and labelled below:

This Sinpo Mandu is located on the main street in Insa-dong and is next door to Starbucks coffee. It’s on the 1st floor and has it’s own entrance at street level. Here is a GoogleMaps Link:

Thoughts

The Food Good, The Price Good, The Restaurant Good but the service was a little rushed at times.  It’s also nice to have a menu in English but with Korean food, so if you new to Korea (or don’t read Korean) this is good place to start your Korean food experience. Also the ₩100 Coffee Machine is a nice touch. Overall it is a great place to stop into a get some lunch without breaking the bank or ordering something strange.
