For this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week we’ve chosen “Bom Bom Bom” (봄봄봄) by Roy Kim (로이킴). It was released a few weeks ago back on April 21st and so far has amassed around 1,750,000 views on Youtube. Here are our reasons for choosing “Bom Bom Bom” for our song of the week:
- Firstly it very seasonal, as Bom (봄) means Spring is Korean.
- Secondly the video simple, well planed and designed it doesn’t go over the top and also matches the Spring theme very well.
- Finally the song is very catchy and memorable.
- On the negative side; it’s a bit cheesy and not easy to dance too.
