As the K League Classic is still on its month long international break, we will continue to have a more detailed little look at the K League Challenge. Once again the K League Challenge is basically the K League 2 or second division of football here in South Korea. The league is made up of 8 teams with the winner advancing to a promotion playoff vs. the K League Classic 12th placed team.
Here are the results and our predictions for Round 14:

K League Challenge Round 13 Fixtures, Predictions & Results:

K League Challenge 2013 Round 14

Round 14 of the K League Challenge is spread over 3 days with 1 game on Saturday, 2 games on Sunday and 1 game on Monday evening. All the fixtures are listed above and here are our thoughts:

Bucheon 1995 vs. Korean Police – Saturday @ 7pm

Both teams come into this game on very average form, with league leaders Korean Police on a current 3 game losing run. We feel that this game will be very close and a draw is the most likely outcome.

Prediction: 2 – 2

Suwon City FC vs. FC Anyang – Sunday @ 7pm

Both of these mid-table teams have been on good form recently and have gained a bit on the leaders. Also Suwon’s home record is bad but Anyang’s away form isn’t much better, a bit of a dull draw is most likely.

Prediction: 1 – 1

Goyang Hi vs. Gwangju – Sunday @ 7pm

Goyang’s mini revival ended last weekend with a defeat away vs. Sangju, whilst Gwangju extended their unbeaten run to 6 games. This will be close but we’re siding with Gwangju.

Prediction: 0 – 1

Sangju Sangmu vs. Chungju Hummel – Monday @ 7.30pm

The last game of round 14 is on paper the most predictable. Bottom club Chungju travel to second place Sangju, in what should be an easy win for the Korean Army side. However football is never that predictable, but we’re siding with Sangju

Prediction: 2 – 0

K League Challenge Round 14 Results:

Bucheon 1995 1 – 3 Korean Police
Suwon City FC 2 – 3 FC Anyang
Goyang Hi 0 – 1 Gwangju
Sangju Sangmu 2 – 0 Chungju

Prediction Result: We got 2 correct results both also being correct scores as well. Not Bad.
