It was a tough decision but for this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week we’ve chosen “Darling of All Hearts” (인의 연인) by Sunny Hill (써니힐) featuring Hareem (하림). It was released on June 19th and has been viewed little over 270,000 times so far on YouTube. Here are our reasons for choosing “Darling of All Hearts” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has an older maybe 60s bubblegum style nice is refreshing on a hot summers day.
- Secondly the video is fun and vibrant with nice comedic scenes featuring Hareem.
- Finally Sunny Hill have stayed true to their overall style and haven’t (yet) sold out and gone down the sexy KPOP group route.
- On the slight negative side; the song is good but a little forgettable and after a couple of plays it does get a little boring.
