Once again it was a tough decision but for this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week we’ve chosen “Falling in Love” by 2NE1. It was released a week ago today on the 7th of July and has already been viewed over 5.5millon times so far on YouTube. Here are our reasons for choosing “Falling in Love” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is strong, catchy and simple.
- Secondly the video is interesting with a slight storyline and some odd scenes.
- Finally 2NE1 are basically KPOP royalty and therefore you’ll always release high quality songs and videos, and this one is no exception.
- On the negative side; it’s a little repetitive and does get boring the 2nd or 3rd time you listen to it.

2NE1 started their journey back in 2009 and are made up of 4 members Park Bom (29), Dara (28), CL (22) and Minzy (19). They started out strong and have basically been successful with every release that they’ve made. They have also this year collaborated with superstar Will.i.am.
