Because of the East Asian Cup starting this weekend Round 19 is on a Tuesday and every team is playing (Fixtures Above). There are a few harsh away trips including the trip down South for Incheon United to Gyeongnam.
Here are our predictions, sorry no real previews as it’s a full midweek round (sorry):
K League Classic Round 18:
Gangwon vs. FC Seoul (Tuesday 7pm)
7th placed FC Seoul travel to 12th placed Gangwon. FC Seoul have won their last 2 games but Gangwon are undeafed in their last 5 league games. FC Seoul’s away record is poor so we’re siding with a draw.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Jeonbuk Motors vs. Daejeon Citizen (Tuesday 7pm)
4th Placed Jeonbuk have won 3 of their last 4 games. Whilst bottom of the league Daejeon haven’t won since March and have lost 5 of their last 6. This one is a banana skin for Jeonbuk but they should win.
Prediction: 2 – 0
Busan I’Park vs. Chunnam Dragons (Tuesday 7.30pm)
9th placed Busan host 10th placed Chunnam in this midtable 6pointer. Both teams are on average form, both with a win in 3 league games. This one could go either way but we’re going with a draw.
Prediction: 0 – 0
Pohang Steelers vs. Suwon Bluewings (Tuesday 7.30pm)
2nd placed Pohang lost top spot on Saturday and only have 1 win from their last 4 games. 5th placed Suwon on the other hand are showing some much improved form recently. We’re going with a surprising Suwon win.
Prediction: 1 – 2
Seongnam vs. Daegu (Tuesday 7.30pm)
8th placed Seongnam come into this game with just 1 win from their last 4 games. They host 13th placed Daegu who have improved recently but did lose at the weekend away to Incheon. We’re favoring an entertaining score draw.
Prediction: 2 – 2
Ulsan Hyundai vs. Jeju United (Tuesday 7.30pm)
Ulsan moved to the top of the league this Saturday thanks to a 3rd win in their last 4. They host 6th placed Jeju who’ve been inconsistent recently, and their away form is a major issue. Because of that we’re predicting an Ulsan win.
Prediction: 1 – 0
Gyeongnam vs. Incheon United (Tuesday 8pm)
11th placed Gyeongnam come into the game without a win in their last 4 games. 3rd placed Incheon come into this game undefeated in their last 3 and with the best away record in the league. Because of this we’re siding with Incheon.
Prediction: 0 – 1

Our Round 19 Predictions Round Up
We took a few chances this week and it backfired as we scored just 1 correct result.
However the Daegu and Gyeongnam wins as well as the Jeonbuk vs. Daejeon draw will surprise a lot of K League Classic followers.
