Hello any and welcome to another Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week. This week we’ve chosen “Destiny” by Infinite. It was released this past Monday July 15th and has already been viewed over 1.5millon times so far on YouTube. Here are our reasons for choosing “Destiny” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a great tempo and strong vocals. It’s also memorable.
- Secondly the video doesn’t detract from the song and doesn’t feature anyone apart from Infinite.
- Finally Infinite have stayed true to their style and the type of sound their fans love to hear.
- On the negative side; the video has maybe 3 different sets, and so it’s a little boring but very Infinite :).

Infinite or 인피니트 started their journey back in 2010 when they released a couple of extented plays, however it was in 2011 when they found success. Their are 7 members of the band aged between 24 and 19. This year (2013) they headed on their first world tour visiting countries such as Taiwan and Thailand but also the UK, France and Peru (less KPOP focused markets).
