Baking in Korea isn’t easy as most homes don’t have an oven, however where there’s a will there’s a way. If you have a simple electric (some call a toaster oven) you can make Chocolate Chip Cookies at home using a Mix by Beksul and Tous les Jours. Tous les Jours is a popular chain a bakeries here in South Korea. The pack comes with basically all that you need and is of a high quality.
Brief guide on how to use this Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
Firstly this is the guide on the back of the box and packet;
As you can see it’s in Korean however it isn’t very difficult. The addition ingredients you require are Butter (70grams) and Half an Egg.
1 – Mix the Butter and Egg together
2 – Add the large premix packet (270g) and continue mixing.
3 – Add the small premix packet () and continue mixing.
4 – When the mixture is mixed divide into cookie sized pieces and place on a lined baking tray (baking paper or foil).
5 – Cook for 30mins at 180c
6 – Enjoy
*Optional* You could add extra chocolate or even dried fruits and/or nuts.
