For this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week we’ve chosen “Feel Good” by CNBlue (씨엔블루). It was released this past Thursday August 22nd and has around 175,000 views so far on YouTube in just a few days. Here are our reasons for choosing “Feel Good” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song flows nicely and it builds up in tempo throughout.
- Secondly the video is fun and interesting. The story is a little strange (mainly the parts with the bear), but it’s enjoyable.
- Finally CNBlue have stayed true to there unique style which should impress both old and new fans.
- On the negative side; there was some obvious Samsung product placement, although it wasn’t done in a negative or over the top way.
More Information on CNBlue
CNBlue started back in 2009 and in contrast to many other KPOP bands they first released songs in Japan and it wasn’t until 2010 when they launched in Korea. A couple of their was popular releases have been 외톨이야 (I’m a Loner) and I’m Sorry. They are maybe Koreas most popular Pop-Rock bands.
