The K League Classic Returns this week with 5 games with importance as both ends of the table, as there is little over a month until the end of the season. The 1st leg of the AFC Champions League Final is also this weekend and features K League Classic side FC Seoul.
We will start by previewing the K League Classic Game in a slightly briefer style than normal and then the Champions League Final:
K League Classic:
Saturday October 26th:
Jeju United vs. Gyeongnam (2pm) – Relegation Group
Both teams have had a bad run of games, although Gyeongnam did pick up 3 points in their last game vs. Daejeon. However we feel that Jeju will be stronger on the day and at home.
Prediction: 1 – 0
Sunday October 27th:
Busan I’Park vs. Incheon United (3pm) – Championship Group
Busan are currently bottom of the championship group haven’t won since the very start of September. Incheon United are also on a bad run and are winless since the end of August, but they have drawn their last 4 games. This should be a close game and we honestly feel that Incheon will make it a 5th draw.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Ulsan Hyundai vs. Suwon Bluewings (4pm) – Championship Group
League leaders Ulsan have been on an interesting run of games with 3 win in their last 5 games including a 2 – 0 away win over FC Seoul last weekend. Suwon also beat FC Seoul in their last game and are on a good run as they are unbeaten in their last 5 games. This again will be a close game and we feel it may end in a draw.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Gangwon vs. Chunnam Dragons (2pm) – Relegation Group
Gangwon come into this game on a bit of a hot streak as they are unbeaten in their last 3 game. Chunnam on the other hand are having a bad patch of form and are winless in their last three. This should be a close game however we’re favoring Gangwon.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Daegu vs. Seongnam (2pm) – Relegation Group
Daegu won their last game however before that they were are a pretty bad run. Seongnam on the other hand are on really good form and have won 8 of their last 10 games. Although Seongnam are clear and save we still feel that they’ll win this one.
Prediction: 0 – 2

K League Classic Predictions Round Up
An improved week this round as we predicted 3 correct results with 1 perfect score from the 5 games. We also got the result correct for the championship league final but no perfect score.
AFC Champions League Final 2013 1st Leg
FC Seoul vs. Guangzhou Evergrande (7.30pm on October 25th)
The AFC or Asian Champions League started back in March and after numerous games and thousands of miles we’re down to the final 2.
FC Seoul: Their recent K League form has been pretty poor recently as they have lost their last 2 games. However their Champions League form has been fantastic with only 1 loss in the entire competition. Their also have won all of their home knockout stage games.
Guangzhou Evergrande: They are running away with the Chinese Super League and have only lost once all season and currently stand 17 points clear at the top. Their Champions League form has also been strong and they have won ever single knockout stage game both home and away.
Preview: With this being the 1st leg both teams will want to start strongly but also avoid letting the tie fall away from them. We honestly feel this maybe a bit of a cagey match and a draw is the most likely outcome.
Score Prediction: 1 – 1
Result
FC Seoul 2 – 2 Guangzhou Evergrande
