This weeks Photo Wednesday was taken at home. As today is Christmas Day it’s therefore almost a modern Korean tradition to buy a cake covered in a deep layer of whipped cream. Because we wanted a cake fresh for Christmas Day we actually when to Tous Les Jours (a common bakery chain) this morning and therefore the selection was a little less than maybe a couple of days ago but lucky we got a cake we wanted.
In Korea Christmas Day is normally a popular shopping day and therefore many larger stores are open at least until late afternoon / early evening. Of course Banks, Schools and many other services and businesses are closed.
