Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, the fifth for March 2014. This week we’ve chosen the new release from Baechigi (
). The song is titled “Dduraeyo” ( ) and it was released last Sunday March 23rd. In the past week it has been viewed a little over 80,000 times on YouTube. This isn’t maybe as mainstream as our normal selections so here are our reasons for choosing “Dduraeyo” for our KPOP song of the week:- Firstly the song fun and smooth, there’s a good tempo and transitions.
- Secondly the video is really good, it’s well made with a cool letterbox theme. There’s also a story and fun side parts.
- Finally Baechigi are a slightly under valued KPOP act who always release quality tracks.
- On the negative side; it will get lost vs. higher profile KPOP releases.
