Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, the first for April 2014. This week we’ve chosen the new release from Crayon Pop (
). The song is titled “Uh-ee” ( ) and it was released last Monday March 31st. In the past week it has been viewed around 2,000,000 times on YouTube. In a week of a few big new releases, here are our reasons for choosing “Uh-ee” for our KPOP song of the week:- Firstly the song has an interesting trot (classic KPOP) style with a fun chorus.
- Secondly the video features a number of other KPOP stars as well as a small story.
- Finally Crayon Pop over the past year have been many peoples guilty pleasure and we hope they keep this cute fun style.
- On the negative side; it’s maybe not as catchy as Jumping (Bababa).
