Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, the third for April 2014. This week we’ve chosen the new release from Akdong Musician. The song is titled “200%” and it was released back on Sunday April 6th. Since then it has been viewed around 2,800,000 times on YouTube. Here are our reasons for choosing “200%” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has features great harmonies as well as individual talents from this Brother and Sister group.
- Secondly the video has an interesting and cute little story which matches the song nicely.
- Finally Akdong Musician seem to being developing well as a duo and as they’re still young you’d expect them to continue to grow.
- On the negative side; the story doesn’t really have the nicest of endings.
