Recently whilst in Seoul we enjoyed a nice hamburger lunch at the Smokey Saloon “The Hamburger Grill” in Hongdae. Of course Hongdae is famous for it’s wide range of restaurants, cafes, bars and more, so finding a good place to eat isn’t difficult. However finding a cheap lunch menu is always worth trying out. The Smokey Saloon offers a ₩5,900 burger lunch menu which is great if you’re looking for a quick but not fast food bite.
Thoughts: The burgers we had were tasty and freshly cooked. All of the ingredients seemed (and tasted) like they were of a high standard. They also have a tasty microbrew. Inside the restaurant was comfortable and not overly busy or loud. Also it’s not smokey :). Overall it’s a nice place to get lunch or even dinner before a night out in Hongdae.

Directions & Map to Smokey Saloon in Hongdae
To get to the Smokey Saloon from Hongik University Station take exit 9 and turn left, continue straight a little bit and then turn right heading towards the red metal arches. It’s turn on the left. If you reach the main road or the university you’ve gone to far.
