This evening world cup bound South Korea hosted Tunisia in a World Cup Warm Up Friendly at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. The match was designed to be a test of what they might be coming up against in their group match vs. Algeria.
Result: South Korea 0 – 1 Tunisia
Thoughts: Sadly the overall performances from both sides wasn’t to a World Cup standard, both seemed happy to lose the ball in attacking areas and lacked any cutting edge. The best chance of maybe the whole match feel to midfielder Zouhaier Dhaouadi who coolly slotted home what proved to be the winning goal with a minute reminding of the first half. The second half saw no real clear cut chances and the game wound down with Korea sadly lacking in ideas and aimlessly crossing the ball. English referee Martin Atkinson have a solid game but his performance was maybe the best of the night.
Tunisia travel to play Belgium a week on Sunday, whilst South Korea look to regroup before their next (and last) warm up game vs. Ghana a week on Monday in Miami.
