Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, the third for June 2014. This week we’ve chosen the new release from K.Will (). The song is titled “Day 1” () and it was released this past Wednesday June 25th. Since then it has been viewed around 550,000 times on YouTube. Here are our reasons for choosing “Day 1” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song blends together interesting lyrics with strong vocals, an enjoyable easy listening song for the summer.
- Secondly the video has a sweet love story featuring Park Min Woo and Soyou (Sistar).
- Finally K.Will is a KPOP Star proven partly by the fact he has over 1 million Facebook likes. This song shows his talents wonderfully.
- On the negative side; the video is a little cringeworthy at times.
