Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, the first for July 2014. This week we’ve chosen the new release from F(X) (). The song is titled “Red Light” and it was released this past Wednesday July 2nd. Since then it has been viewed over 3,600,000 times on YouTube. Here are our reasons for choosing “Red Light” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song blends together dance, rap, strong vocals and rapping nicely.
- Secondly the video features a slight storyline but is more artistically focused.
- Finally F(X) are now a leading KPOP Group and therefore only release quality.
- On the negative side; it sounds very similar to a Girls Generation type song.
