K League Classic 2014 Round 14 Previews & Predictions
This mid week round of games is all on one night with 3 games at 7pm and the other 3 at 7.30pm. Here are brief previews of the K League Classic Round 14 Games;
Wednesday July 9th:
Jeonnam Dragons vs. Gyeongnam (7pm)
Wednesdays first game featuring 4th placed Jeonnam Dragons hosting relegation threatened Gyeongnam.
Both sides draw this past weekend, although Jeonnam will be disappointed as they gave away a 2 goal lead.
This should be pretty close, but we feel Jeonnam should be able to win it.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Jeonbuk Hyundai vs. Jeju United (7pm)
Wednesday 2nd game it a top of the table clash as 2nd placed Jeonbuk Hyundai host 3rd placed Jeju United.
Jeonbuk looked impressive as they won over Busan I’Park this past weekend, whilst Jeju played out a dull draw.
Jeonbuk are on form and strong at home and therefore we see them winning this one.
Prediction: 2 – 0
Sangju Sangmu vs. Busan I’Park (7pm)
Wednesdays 3rd 7pm kick off is a middle table clash as 7th placed Sangju Sangmu host 10th placed Busan I’Park.
Sangju won this past weekend away, whilst Busan lost at home.
Because of this we’re siding with the home team, but it will be close.
Prediction: 1 – 0
Pohang Steelers vs. FC Seoul (7.30pm)
The first of Wednesdays 7.30kick offs features league leaders Pohang Steelers hosting 9th place FC Seoul.
Both sides draw on the road this past weekend, however FC Seoul did look strong battling back from 2 down.
This looks like it will be a close one, with a draw being the most likely outcome.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Suwon Bluewings vs. Ulsan Hyundai (7.30pm)
In the 5th of Wednesdays games 6th placed Suwon Bluewings take on 5th placed Ulsan Hyundai.
Both sides draw this past weekend and both are on the same points and are only separated by goal difference.
Therefore we see this being a close but exciting draw.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Incheon United vs. Seongnam FC (7.30pm)
The final game of Wednesday8th placed Seongnam FC travel to bottom side Incheon United.
Bottom side Incheon United will have a changed lineup maybe including the resigned Brazilian forward Diogo, after losing at the weekend to Sangju Sangmu.
Seongnam recorded a good draw vs. Ulsan at the weekend.
On paper this should be a close one and therefore we see it being a draw.
Prediction: 1 – 1
