K League Challenge 2014 Round 18 Previews & Predictions

Here are (extra) brief previews and predictions for this Weekends 5 games.

Saturday July 12th

Gangwon vs. Goyang Hi (7pm)

Gangwon have drawn their last 3 games, but still sit in the final playoff place (4th).
Goyang Hi have had mixed form recently with 1 win, 1 draw and 1 defeat in their last 3 games.
Gangwon boosted by a couple of new signings, including Goyang’s top goalscorer Alex should be able to take the 3 points.

Prediction: 2 – 0

Suwon City vs. Chungju Hummel (7pm)

Suwon City have drawn their last 3 games, but are still 5th.
Chungju Hummel have found a little form recently picking up 5 points from their last 3 games.
This one should be close and a draw maybe the most likely outcome.

Prediction: 1 – 1

Ansan Police vs. Gwangju (7.30pm)

Ansan Police are finally finding a little form and are unbeaten in 3 games, with 2 wins and a draw.
Gwangju are also on good form winning their last 2 games.
However Ansan are very strong at home and we see them taking the 3 points.

Prediction: 2 – 0

Sunday July 13th

Daejeon Citizen vs. FC Anyang (7pm)

Sundays first game features the top two sides, leaders Daejeon Citizen hosting 2nd placed FC Anyang.
Daejeon have suffered a slight blip in form recently, with 1 draw and 1 defeat in recent weeks.
FC Anyang have been pretty solid lately with 3 wins in their last 5 games.
This one could be very interesting, with a draw a likely outcome.

Prediction: 0 – 0

Bucheon 1995 vs. Daegu (7pm)

Bucheon 1995 are on awful form at the moment, losing their last 5 games and falling to the bottom of the league.
Daegu sadly haven’t been doing much better with just 1 point form their last 3 games.
Daegu should win this one, but recent form shows it might not be easy.

Prediction: 0 – 1
