Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, the third for July 2014. This week we’ve chosen the new release from B1A4. The song is titled “Solo Day” and it was released last Sunday July 13th. Since then it has been viewed over 830,000 times on YouTube. Here are our reasons for choosing “Solo Day” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a very catchy chorus and a nice summer sound.
- Secondly the video has a fun and interesting, if slightly corny American story line.
- Finally B1A4 are now producing higher quality and more memorable songs.
- On the negative side; the video intro is over a minute long and a little boring.
