Wara Wara is a Fusion Restaurant / Pub Chain here in South Korea which has locations all over the nation. It has a slightly Japanese design feel but the menu is a mixture of different favorites from around the world but often with a slight twist. Although it’s more of a restaurant in terms of menu and overall layout it has a drinking atmosphere which makes it feel more like a pub.
Thoughts; firstly the food is competitively priced but there is a good range and the quality is certainly there. One major bonus is the cheese based dishes, as in Korea cheese is not often on the menu and can often be poor. Secondly the overall atmosphere is positive, which allows you to enjoy a few drinks with your friends without an issue. Of course Wara Wara is the type of place were dining alone is basically never seen (couples and groups only). Finally the drinks menu has a nice range of different beers, sojus, sakes (maybe due to the Japanese design) and cocktail pitchers.
Overall Wara Wara is a great place to relax on a Friday or Saturday evening and share some nice food and drinks with a group of friends, family or even go on a date. Also although we’ve been to many different Wara Wara Locations, we took the photos at their Gyesan Restaurant.
