Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, the second for August 2014. Although there were a number of very interesting new releases this week, we’ve chosen the new release from Ladies Code. The song is titled “Kiss Kiss” (키스 키스) and it was released on Wednesday August 6th. Since then it has been viewed over 50,000 times on YouTube. Here are our reasons for choosing “Kiss Kiss” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is catchy and memorable.
- Secondly the video has a cute cartoon style and contains a slight reserve sleeping beauty storyline.
- Finally Ladies Code might not be the best known KPOP Group but they do have a growing fan base.
- On the negative side; a number of other groups have release new singles recently and therefore this one might become a little lost.
