As we’re currently in the middle of the Korean Summer it’s always nice to escape a little and enjoy the weather. One very enjoyable place to visit within Seoul is the Seoul World Cup Park (sometimes known as the Haneul Park) which is located in North West South close to both the Han River and Seoul World Cup Stadium. Thanks partly to former president Lee Seoul has a number of beautiful parks and the World Cup Park is one of the biggest and best. It’s clean, safe and easy to find. There are numerous maps and signs so you can’t get lost and also you don’t have to avoid cars, which in Seoul is nice. Finally it’s close to the Seoul World Cup Stadium so you can enjoy the park by day and maybe catch some International or K League football (soccer) action in the evening.
