The K League Challenge moves into round 23 of the 2014 season, and with the league still so close all of these games are important.

Before looking at the previews and predictions for this weeks round 23, here is an updated K League Challenge 2014 league table:
After the last round of games the league table still remains tight. Daejeon now have a 16 point lead at the top, FC Anyang, Ansan Police and Daegu make up the playoff places. Gangwon, Gwangju, Goyang and Suwon make up the mid table. Whilst Bucheon 1995 and Chungju battle to avoid the wooden spoon which is 10th place.
K League Challenge 2014 Round 23 Previews & Predictions
Here are our brief previews and predictions for this Weekends (plus Monday) 5 games.
Saturday August 23rd
Daegu vs. Gwangju (7pm)
This weekends first game is between 4th placed Daegu and 6th placed Gwangju.
Daegu won for the first time in 4 games last weekend, whilst Gwangju are unbeaten in 4.
This one looks like it will be close and therefore a draw maybe the most likely outcome.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Bucheon 1995 vs. Gangwon (7pm)
Saturdays 2nd game features 9th placed Bucheon 1995 and 5th placed Gangwon.
Bucheon 1995 have lost their last 2 games and only have 1 win in their last 5 games.
Gangwon are unbeaten in 3.
Bucheon are poor at home and therefore we’re siding with in form Gangwon.
Prediction: 1 – 3
Sunday August 24th
FC Anyang vs. Daejeon Citizen (7pm)
Sundays first game is a top of the table match up between 2nd placed FC Anyang and run away leaders Daejeon Citizen.
Anyang have won 3 but lost 2 of their last 5 games.
Daejeon are unbeaten in their last 5 games.
This one will be close and although Anyang rarely draw we feel that is the most likely outcome.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Chungju Hummel vs. Suwon City (7pm)
Sundays second game is a bottom of the table clash between 10th placed Chungju Hummel and 8th placed Suwon City.
Chungju haven’t won in 6 games, whilst Suwon City have lost their last 3.
Neither side is on good form, but we’re going to side with the home team Chungju.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Monday August 25th
Ansan Police vs. Goyang Hi (7.30pm)
Mondays only game features Ansan Police (3rd) and Goyang Hi (7th).
Ansan Police have won their last 2 games and still have 2 games in hand over the sides above them.
Goyang have lost 2 and drawn 1 of their last three games.
Ansan Police will be a heavy favorites.
Prediction: 2 – 0
