Recently we stopped into a Hongdae Coffee Shop called “Grabie“. The main reason we stopped off was their discounted takeout coffee option, being able to save a few bucks on an already nice cup of coffee is never a bad thing.
Thoughts: The coffee is great, but the options are complex and a little overwhelming. The interior is nice and modern. We don’t try any of the food or other drinks options, but they seem reasonably priced. It’s open 24 hours and so a cool place to visit anytime. Finally the price is great, the takeout discount is great if you’re moving about and/or want to enjoy the summer sunshine.
Overall Grabie is a pretty standard coffee shop, but the options are interesting and the takeout discount is a nice option.

Location of Grabie Coffee in Hongdae
Grabie Coffee in is located not far from Hongik University and is also almost next door to the famous Coffee Prince Cafe. If you travel from Hongik University Station Exit 9 head up the hill passing KFC until you reach a T junction. Here turn left and then right up the hill with a school on your right. When you reach the top of the hill you’ll find it on the corner.

I’ve been here once. It can be summed up in one word: Blah
Agree, the only selling points are the discounted takeout and that it’s open 24 hours.
