K League Challenge 2014 Round 27 September 17th

The K League Challenge moves into round 27 of the 2014 season (there are 36 total), and this is a rare but most welcome midweek round of games. The league still surprisingly so close all of these games are important.

Before looking at the previews and predictions for this midweek round 27, here is an updated K League Challenge 2014 league table:

After the last round of games the league table still remains tight. Daejeon still lead the way and now have an 16 point lead at the top. Ansan Police an now up to 2nd with FC Anyang and Gangwon now completing the playoff places. Daegu, Gwangju and Suwon City are all only a win away from the playoffs. Goyang are a point behind this pack. Chungju Hummel and Bucheon 1995 have a mini-battle at the bottom.

K League Challenge 2014 Round 27 Previews & Predictions

Here are our brief previews and predictions for this Wednesdays 5 games.

Wednesday September 13th

Chungju Hummel vs. FC Anyang (7pm)

This Wednesdays first game is between 9th placed Chungju Hummel and 3rd placed FC Anyang.
Chungju Hummel are draw specialists with 12 all season,  FC Anyang have lost there last 2 games.
FC Anyang will be slight favorites, but it will be close.

Prediction: 1 – 2

Gangwon vs. Daegu (7pm)

This Wednesdays second game features 4th placed Gangwon and 5th placed Daegu.
These sides are only 2 points apart and their forms are pretty similar.
Honestly this one looks like a draw.

Prediction: 1 – 1

Daejeon Citizen vs. Gwangju (7.30pm)

This Wednesdays third game features run away leaders Daejeon Citizen hosting 6th placed Gwangju.
Daejeon are unbeaten at home so far this season, Gwangju however have a very strong defense.
Daejeon will be heavy favorites.

Prediction: 2 – 0

Suwon City vs. Ansan Police (7.30pm)

This Wednesdays fourth game is between two sides to different ends of the table 7th placed Suwon City and 2nd placed Ansan Police.
Suwon City are unbeaten in 4 with 2 wins. Ansan Police have finally found there form and will be looking to wrap up 2nd place.
Ansan Police have won there last 2 games away from home and we feel this will be their 3rd.

Prediction: 0 – 1

Bucheon 1995 vs. Goyang Hi (8pm)

This Wednesdays final game has bottom club Bucheon 1995 hosting 8th placed Goyang Hi.
Bucheon have only 1 win in their last 14 games, whilst Goyang haven’t done much better.
A draw looks like a likely outcome.

Prediction: 1 – 1
