The K League Challenge moves into round 28 of the 2014 season (there are 36 total). The league still surprisingly so close and all of these remaining games are important.
Before looking at the previews and predictions for this midweek round 28, here is an updated K League Challenge 2014 league table:
After the last round of games the league table still remains tight. Daejeon still lead the way and now have an 16 point lead at the top. Ansan Police are 2nd with Gangwon and Gwangju now completing the playoff places. FC Anyang have dropped to 5th, with Suwon City, Goyang Hi and Daegu all within 3 points of the playoffs. Chungju and Bucheon are 10 points adrift at the bottom.

Here are our brief previews and predictions for this weekends 5 games (3 Saturday & 2 Sunday)
Saturday September 20th
Daejeon Citizen vs. Chungju Hummel (4pm)
Saturdays first game is between league leaders Daejeon Citizen and 9th placed Chungju Hummel.
Chungju Hummel shocked many people by putting 4 past Anyang during the week. Daejeon also surprised a few by losing at home to Gwangju.
This on paper looks like an easy win for Daejeon, but we feel it will at least be close.
Prediction: 1 – 0
Bucheon 1995 vs. Ansan Police (4pm)
Saturdays second game features bottom side Bucheon 1995 vs. 2nd placed Ansan Police.
Bucheon have picked up just 1 win in 14, Ansan Police on the other hand have 3 wins in 4 games.
Ansan Police will come into this one as favorites.
Prediction: 1 – 3
FC Anyang vs. Goyang Hi (4pm)
Saturdays final game features 5th placed FC Anyang and 7th placed Goyang Hi.
Anyang have lost their last 3 games straight, whilst Goyang have improved picking up 7 points from their last 3 games.
Although draws are rare in Anyang, we see this being one.
Prediction: 2 – 2
Sunday September 21st
Gwangju vs. Gangwon (2pm)
Sundays first game is between two playoff placed sides 4th placed Gwangju and 3rd placed Gangwon.
Both sides recorded impressive wins during the week.
They are evenly matched and are on similar form, therefore we’re siding with a draw.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Daegu vs. Suwon City (2pm)
Sundays final game features 8th placed Daegu and 6th placed Suwon City in a middle table clash.
Daegu have 1 win in 4, whilst Suwon have 3 wins in 4.
Suwon City will be slight favorites even though they’re away from home.
Prediction: 1 – 2
