Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, the fourth for November 2014. Although there were a number of very interesting new releases this week, we’ve chosen the new release by GOT7. The song is titled “Stop Stop It” and it was released on Sunday November 16th. Since then the video has been viewed over 2.1 million times on YouTube. Here are our reasons for choosing “Stop Stop It” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has features a nice mix of solid vocals and rapping, plus some cool futuristic robotic sounds.
- Secondly the video focuses on a time travel type love story, as well as futuristic sets and dance routines.
- Finally GOT7 are the most hyped new boyband of 2014 and this release will help them grow in popularity.
- On the negative side; it’s a little safe and is maybe missing a little cutting edge.
