Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, the fourth and final for December and 2014. Although there were a number of interesting and seasonal new releases recently, we’ve chosen the new release by Roy Kim. The song is titled “It’s Christmas Day” and it was released on Thursday December 18th. Since then the video has been viewed around 100,000 times on the CJenMusic YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “It’s Christmas Day” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is mellow and has an enjoyable Christmas theme.
- Secondly the video nicely shot and matches the song nicely.
- Finally Roy Kim has strong and emotional vocals and it’s growing in popularity.
- On the negative side; as Christmas has now passed interest in this song might have as well.
