The start of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup is only a few days away and the South Korean team is already down in Australia ready to try and bring home the trophy..
The squad includes 6 European based players are in the squad, whilst only 5 players from the K League made the squad (and 2 are goalkeepers).
There are however a number of big names missing from this squad as well as others who under performed at last years World Cup. Here are a few: Yun Suk-young (QPR), Hong Jeong-ho (Augsburg), Kim Bo-kyoung (Cardiff City), Koo Ja-cheol (Mainz). As well as all 4 forwards from the world cup squad; Ji Dong-won (Augusburg on loan from Borussia Dortmund), Lee Keun-ho (Sangju Sangmu), Park Chu-young (Arsenal) and Kim Shin-wook (Ulsan Hyundai).

Tae-Hee Nam scored in the 36th minute is give Korea their 2nd single goal victory.

Jung-Hyub Lee scored in the 32nd minute is give Korea their 3rd single goal victory. Korea finished top of Group A and will meet Uzbekistan in the Quarter Finals.
