Although drinking and alcohol is a big part of South Korean culture there are many people who don’t drink for number of different reasons. So here in Korea there’s a surprisingly high number of different Non-Alcoholic Beers or Malt Drinks available. There are a few domestic non-alcoholic beers but most of the market in made up of imports, here are what we’ve found recently and most cost between ₩1000 and ₩2000 ($1 to $2).
Different Imported Non-Alcoholic Beers
Bavaria
It comes in 3 different flavors; Lemon, Apple and Original Malt. Imported from Holland.
San Miguel
Printed in both English and Arabic. Imported from Hong Kong.
Mac’s Light
Part of the Miller brand. Imported from Milwaukee, USA. Also one of select few available in 24 can packs.
3 Horses
Available in Apple and Peach flavors. Imported from the Breda company in Holland.
Texas Select
One of the beer tasting options. Imported from Texas, USA.
Bitburger
This one looks more like a beer but an average taste. Imported from Bitburg, Germany. Sometimes found discounted (as pictured below).
White Bear
Available in Malt, Apple and Peach flavors. Imported from Germany. One of the cheapest options.
Domestic / Korean Non-Alcoholic Beers
