After a long week at work sometimes it’s nice to kick back a enjoy a few drinks with friends or loved ones. With that in mind the option of unlimited Sake, Soju or Beer for just ₩9,800 ($10) per person might be appealing. A Japanese style restaurant chain called Musa Izakaya (무사 이자카야) is where this great offer can be found. They have a growing number of branches in Seoul and the surrounding area as well as a few dotted around the rest of South Korea. We visited our local branch in Cheongna, Incheon here are our thoughts.
Thoughts: The interior design is very Japanese, warm and comfortable. There are also more private areas if on a date. The drinks are as already described basic but cheap, more expensive options are available as well if wanted. The food menu is pretty extensive and we went for the Tuna Sashimi. It was very tasty and the salad helped with the slightly Sake hangover the next morning. Overall the bill came to less than ₩25,000 ($30) per person and was well worth the money.
Overall Musa Izakaya Restaurant is a great place to drink with friends or as a couple on a Friday or Saturday night. Just be careful as unlimited Sake or Soju can be too much for some.
