Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our first for March 2015. Although there were a number of interesting new releases recently, we’ve chosen the big new release from 4Minute. The song is titled “Crazy“ and it was released on Sunday February 8th. In that time it has been viewed almost 7 million times on the official 4Minute YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Crazy” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a cool and catchy hip-hop vibe, also the rapping and vocals blend well together.
- Secondly the video has a cool black and white theme with flashes of color. There isn’t much of a story but there doesn’t really need to be one here.
- Finally 4Minute are among the most popular KPOP Girl group at the moment, and their releases are always well received by their fans.
- On the negative side; another KPOP Song titled Crazy? Talk about lacking originality.
