Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our second for March 2015. Although there were a number of interesting new releases recently, we’ve chosen the new release from Super Junior sub-group D&E. The song is titled “Growing Pains“ and it was released this Thursday March 5th. In that time it has been viewed around 900,000 times on the SMTOWN YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Growing Pains” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a cool soft rock / indie style which blends well with the strong vocals of both Donghae and Eunhyuk,
- Secondly the video tells a slight story and is artistically shot, please interesting dance sections.
- Finally Donghae and Eunhyuk are very popular members of Super Junior and therefore this release should be well received by their fans.
- On the negative side; it might get lose vs. more energetic recent releases
