Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our fifth for March 2015. Although there were a number of interesting new releases recently, we’ve chosen the new release from Korean Pop-Rock Group FT Island. The song is titled “Pray“ and it was released last Sunday March 22nd. In that time it has been viewed around 490,000 times on their Official YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Pray” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a cool rock style and is a little more edgy than normal KPOP releases.
- Secondly the video is well produced, a little dark and moody, which matches the song and lyrics well.
- Finally FT Island have been around for many years and have grown and developed as into the band you see today. This release will impress their fans from around the world.
- On the negative side; it maybe a little niche for many KPOP fans and therefore sadly might be over looked when compared to other new releases.
