Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our third for April 2015. Although there were a number of interesting new releases recently, we’ve chosen the new release from solo artist Park Boram (박보람). The song is titled “Celepretty” and it was released a few days ago on April 22nd. In that time it has been viewed around 275,000 times on the CJ E&M Music YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Celepretty” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song it fun, cute and have a nice tempo. The vocals from Park Boram are also strong.
- Secondly the video is fun and matches the song well. It has a slight story and BTS theme.
- Finally Park Boram found fame on the Superstar K2 TV Show and promises to have a long career in the KPOP industry.
- On the negative side; it’s fun but maybe a little safe.
