Korean Spicy Baby Octopus Nakji Bokkeum 2

Here in South Korea we have a wide range of different seafood dishes, some are pretty strange and other like this one are a little more normal. 낙지볶음 or Nakji Bokkeum which is basically Spicy stir-fried Baby Octopus and rice. Baby Octopus (or 쭈꾸미) is both popular here in South Korea and tasty as well.

The On Bann restaurant (온반) we visited in located in the Cheongna International City area of Incheon. Here are our thoughts:

Thoughts: First the price at 11,000 (around $11) per person for a full spread (pictured below) is great value. Secondly the food is very tasty, a little spicy but nothing surious if you’re used to Korean food. Finally the restaurant itself is clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and the overall experience was enjoyable.

Overall On Bann (온반) is good value, it’s also a clean & spacious restaurant and the food wasvery tasty, whilst at the same time it’s a slightly different Korean dish. It’s maybe a little more Spring/Fall food, but still enjoyable during the hot summer months.
