South Korea has a wide range of different local dishes that before excite and pleasure the taste buds. However sometimes you want a little taste of home or something a little different. Recently we found ourselves wanting some Indian food and it was suggested that we try the Jyoti Indian Restaurant. The Jyoti Indian Restaurant we visited is close to Sinchon Station and Yonsei University in the North West area of Seoul. Here are our thoughts:
Thoughts: Firstly the price was very reasonable curries costing around ₩13,000 each and the rest of the menu was also very affordable, so it certainly won’t break the bank. Secondly the food, wow…hands down the best curry we’ve had in Korea. Everything was cooked perfectly and the We had the Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala which we ordered were both full of their own unmistakable flavors. Next the location close to Sinchon Station is very accessible. Finally the service was polite, quick and extremely warm. They spoke excellent English and solid Korean, so you felt comfortable eating there.
Overall Jyoti Indian Restaurant is the best of it’s kind we’ve visited in South Korea in regards to food, value and service. Highly recommended.
