The K League Classic moves into round 19, with some teams leading the way and others falling behind. The highlight game this Summer midweek round of fixtures is the 3rd vs. 4th battle between Jeonnam Dragons and Pohang Steelers. Both sides come into this game on good form and this could be a really interesting game.
Updated K League Classic League Table
The league table is still close in the middle but gaps have started to appear. Jeonbuk Hyundai have lost some of their lead at the top but still are 7 points clear. Suwon and Pohang are just behind them, with Jeonnam, Seoul and Jeju United completing the top half. Gwangju, Incheon, Seongnam are separated by just 1 point in 7th-9th. Then come Ulsan, Busan and finally Daejeon who are 8 point adrift completing the table.
K League Classic 2015 Round 19 Previews & Predictions
This round of games all take place on Wednesday (6). All of the games take place in the early evening. Here are our previews of this weekends K League Classic Round 19 Games (sorry a little brief);
Wednesday July 1st 2015:
Jeonbuk Hyundai vs. Busan I’Park (7pm)
League leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai have only 1 win in their last 6 games, but they’re still 7 points clear.
Busan also have just 1 win in 6 and, but unlike Jeonbuk find themselves down in 11th place.
Jeonbuk started the season really well but don’t seem to like playing in the evenings or the summer heat. Still we feel they should edge this one.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Jeonnam Dragons vs. Pohang Steelers (7pm)
Jeonnam Dragons have won 4 of their last 6 games.
Pohang Steelers have lost just once in 9 games, and are currently 3rd.
Both sides are on good form and this should be a good game, however a draw seem the most likely outcome.
Prediction: 2 – 2
Suwon Bluewings vs. Ulsan Hyundai (7.30pm)
Suwon Bluewings have 1 win, 3 draws and 1 defeat from their previous 5 games.
Ulsan Hyundai have only 1 win in 14 games.
Suwon at home will be favorites here, whilst Ulsan will be hoping to improve soon and not become involved in the relegation battle.
Prediction: 2 – 0
Seongnam FC vs. Daejeon Citizen (7.30pm)
Seongnam won for the first time in 6 games at the weekend leapfrogging Ulsan in the table.
Daejeon Citizen have only picked up 8 points all season, but drawn 3 of their last 5.
We see Seongnam having the slight edge, but this one will be close.
Prediction: 1 – 0
Incheon United vs. Gwangju (7.30pm)
Incheon United are unbeaten in 3 and have the tightest defense in the league.
Gwangju have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 1 of their last 5 games.
Incheon will be slight favorites as they are generally strong at home, but it won’t be a given.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Jeju United vs. FC Seoul (8pm)
Jeju United have won 2, drawn 1 and lost 2 of their previous 5 games.
FC Seoul haven’t won in 3 games now and played out a dull “Super Match” draw at the weekend.
Jeju have won 7 in 9 home games this season and that alone is why we’re giving them the edge.
Prediction: 3 – 1

K League Challenge 2015 Round 19
The K League Challenge moves into the 19th round of the 2015 season. The highlight game of the this midweek round of fixtures is the the 2nd vs. 3rd clash between Daegu and Seoul E-Land FC, both sides are on strong form at the moment and this could be an important game in the title race.
K League Challenge League Table Update
The league table has now started to take shape, Sangju Sangmu have a 7 point lead at the top of the table ahead of Seoul E-Land, Daegu and Suwon who make up the playoff places. Goyang are only behind them on Goal Difference. Then come Bucheon, Ansan, Chungju and Bucheon who are 6 points behind them. Gangwon and finally Anyang complete the table.
