Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Third for August 2015. Although there were a number of interesting new releases recently, we’ve chosen the new release from KPOP boy band B1A4. The song is titled “Sweet Girl” and it was released on Sunday August 9th. In that time it has been viewed over 550,000 times on the 1theK YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Sweet Girl” as our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a mellow and laid-back style with strong vocals throughout.
- Secondly the video mixes in some interesting if a little strange dreams/storylines for each of the group with the dream girl.
- Finally B1A4 seem to releasing a few strong songs every year and this one will certainly gain them a few more fans.
- On the negative side; it’s a little safe and boring at times and may get lost in the weeks to come.
