The K League Classic continues this weekend with it’s 33rd round of games. This is the final found of games before the League Split. The highlight game of this round of games is key in the mid-table battle for the final spot in the top 6. The game is between Seongnam FC and Incheon United, if Incheon win they’ll finish 6th. However Seongnam could ruin the party. This should be a close game.
Updated K League Classic League Table
The league table is lead by Jeonbuk Hyundai who have top since close to the start of the season and are 11 points clear. Suwon and Pohang Steelers are just behind them, with Seongnam, Seoul and Incheon completing the top half. Jeju are 7th 2 points behind them and Jeonnam Dragons are 8th 3 points behind. Ulsan are 9th, then come Gwangju who are 11 points ahead of 11th placed Busan and finally Daejeon who are 12 points adrift, completing the table.
League Split 6th Place Possibilities:
Incheon United Win or Jeju United Draw & Jeonnam Dragons Draw or Win (under 5 goal swing) = Incheon 6th place
Incheon United Draw & Jeju United Win (by 3 goals) = Jeju 6th / (under 3 goals) = Incheon 6th.Incheon United Lose & Jeju United Win = Jeju 6th
Incheon & Jeju both lose, Jeonnam win (5 goal swing vs. Incheon) = Jeonnam 6th
K League Classic 2015 Round 33 Previews & Predictions
This round of games take place on Sunday Afternoon. All of the games take place in the early afternoon. Here are our brief previews and predictions of this K League Classic Round 33 round of Games;
Sunday October 4th 2015:
Daejeon Citizen vs. Ulsan Hyundai (2pm)
Bottom side Daejeon Citizen are currently 12 points adrift and could be relegated in the next week or so. Ulsan on the other hand have won 4 games and drawn 1 from their last 5 games. Ulsan will be favorites here.
Prediction: 1 – 2
Gwangju vs. Suwon Bluewings (2pm)
Gwangju have lost 3 in a row and seem to be planing for the 2016 season. Suwon Bluewings have won 2 of their last 3 and are currently in 2nd place. Suwon Bluewings will be favorites to take home all 3 points from this one.
Prediction: 1 – 3
Jeju United vs. Jeonbuk Hyundai (2pm)
Jeju United need a win to have any chance of avoiding the relegation round of the league split. But only 1 win in 3 doesn’t help their case. League leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai have won 3 in a row. Jeonbuk Hyundai will be favorites here, but it will be close as Jeju are strong at home.
Prediction: 0 – 1
Pohang Steelers vs. Busan I’Park (2pm)
Pohang Steelers have won 3 straight and look to be mounting a late title run. Busan I’Park haven’t won in 9 games and have only won twice away from home all season. Pohang will be heavy favorites here.
Prediction: 2 – 0
FC Seoul vs. Jeonnam Dragons (2pm)
FC Seoul have won 2 and lost 2 for their last 4 games but are still in with a chance of making the champions league spots. Jeonnam Dragons haven’t won in 6 games and need a big win plus other results to go their way in order to get 6th place. FC Seoul will be slight favorites here.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Seongnam FC vs. Incheon United (2pm)
Seongnam FC have won 2 games on the bounce and will be hoping to claim a champions league spot for the 2nd season running. Incheon United on the other could still play in the relegation group if they lose or draw, so will be cagey and looking for a win for secure 6th place. This will be a close but maybe dramatic game, with a draw the likely outcome.
Prediction: 1 – 1

Jeju United’s win means that they finish 6th and will play in the Championship Round. They leapfrogged Incheon drop down to 7th and will play in the Relegation Round.

K League Challenge 2015 Round 36
The K League Challenge moves into the 36th round (out of 44) of the 2015 season. The highlight game of the this round of games is the late Sunday game between Gangwon and Sangju Sangmu. Sangju have been on a huge slide in recent weeks and have lost top spot for the first time in months. Gangwon still have outside hopes of a playoff place. This game could go either way and should be entertaining.
K League Challenge League Table Update
The league table is now lead by Daegu who have a 3 point gap at the top. They are just ahead of Sangju Sangmu, Suwon City and Seoul E-Land who make up the playoff places. Bucheon and Goyang are just behind them. Gangwon, FC Anyang and Ansan are still slightly in the playoff race in 7th-9th. Gyeongnam are 10th and finally bottom club is now Chungju Hummel who slipped down to the foot of the table, but are only a single point adrift.
