Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our fourth for October 2015. Although there were a number of very interesting new releases this week, we’ve chosen the release from boy band by BTOB. The song is titled “Way Back Home” and it was released back on Wednesday October 14th. Since then the video has been viewed around 1 million times on the BTOB Official YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Way Back Home” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is strong, powerful with smooth lyrics and solid rapping.
- Secondly the video is an interesting and powerful story. Which matches the lyrics nicely.
- Finally BTOB have been around for a few years now and seem to be finding their sound and niche.
- On the negative side; the 8 minute long video is great for fans, but less so for general KPOP lovers.
