Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our first for November 2015. Although there were a number of very interesting new releases this week, we’ve chosen the new release from girl group by f(x). The song is titled “4 Walls” and it was released on Monday October 26th. Since then the video has been viewed around 4.7 million times on the SMTown YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “4 Walls” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a nice dance tempo and strong vocals from all of the band members.
- Secondly the video contains an interesting if a little strange story which matches the song nicely.
- Finally f(x) have been around for a number of years and have built a large and loyal fanbase, this release should prove popular.
- On the negative side; the song and video are a little safe and they both seem like they’re a bit rushed.
